Day 1 – Departure USA (Miami) to Israel
Today we embark on our Journey to the Holy Land. Prepare ourselves for a life-changing experience. Get some rest on the overnight flight. Meals and Drinks served on board.
DAY 2 – TEL AVIV
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, make your way to the baggage claim area and collect your luggage. Proceed to the arrival’s hall, where you will be greeted by our tour guide and/or driver. Transfer to your hotel in Galilee to check in and enjoy dinner. Overnight in Galilee (Nazareth or Tiberias)
DAY 3 – NAZARETH | TIBERIAS | SEA OF GALILEE
LAfter breakfast start our day with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Then visit Capernaum and the House of Peter, Magdala, the “Jesus Boat” at Nof Ginosar, the church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha, and St. Peter church on the sea. Time permitting, we can spend time relaxing on the beach. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth or Tiberias.
DAY 4 – NAZARETH | CAESAREA PPHILIPPI | MOUNT TABOR
After breakfast drive to Cana of Galilee, the place commemorates the first miracle of Jesus. After that we drive to view Mt. Tabor and then continue to Nazareth to visit Basilica of the Annunciation where the angle announced the birth of Christ. With its two floors, it is considered the largest basilica in the middle east. In the vicinity of the church, is the church of St. Joseph church, where according to tradition was the place where Mary and Joseph lived. And then a visit to the old Synagogue. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
DAY 5 – JERUSALEM
After breakfast, we drive to Mt Olive to have a panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. Then visit the Ascension Chapel and the Peter Noster Church and continue walking to Dominus Flevit, the garden and the Church of Gethsemane, Mt Zion, Dormition Abbey, David’s Tomb, the Last Supper and St. Peter in Galinganto. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
DAY 6 – JERUSALEM
We will walk along the Via Dolorosa, through the markets of the Old City. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary. We will pass the Ecce Home where Pilate proclaimed, “Behold the man”, then on to the Wailing Wall. The rest of the day is open for visits to other historic sites and do some shopping. Dinner and overnight accommodations in Bethlehem..
DAY 7 – JERICHO | DEAD SEA | QUMRAN
After breakfast, visit Bethany and the Tomb of Lazarus. Drive on to Jericho to see the Mount of Temptation, Tel Sultan, and the sycamore tree of Zacchaeus. Later visit the Dead Sea and caves at Qumran. Perhaps even swim in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
DAY 8 – BETHLEHEM
After breakfast, tour Bethlehem. Visit the Nativity Church, Milk Grotto, the Shepherd’s Fields, and the old city of Bethlehem. Enjoy a cultural dinner, cooking classes, folk dancing with local Christian families. Overnight in Bethlehem.
DAY 9 – AMMAN, JORDAN
Go to Allenby Bridge, to enter Jordan. Drive to Medaba in central Jordan. Mt. Nebo (2,680 ft. above sea level) also location of the Tomb of Moses. View a panorama of the Holy Land and the Jordan River Valley. Drive north to the modern capital city of Amman, Jordan. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
DAY 10 – PETRA, JORDAN
Drive to Wadi Musa. Continue to Petra carved and built structures, including the Monastery which was carved out of a sandstone rock face. We will enjoy lunch, and then return through the Siq to Wadi Musa for our drive back to Amman. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 11 – JARASH, JORDAN
Drive to the city of Jerash, Known as the “Pompeii of the East” for its extraordinary state of preservation. The most well-known monuments include the colonnaded street, the Temple of Zeus, the Forum and Hadrian’s Arch. After lunch, we return to Amman. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 12 – FLIGHT HOME
This day schedule depends on the flight time, Drive to Airport for Departure back to the USA.
