12 Day Journey to the HOly Land & Jordan

DAY 1 – Depart the US to Tel Aviv, Israel

Overnight flight to Israel. Meals and Drinks served on flight.

DAY 2 – Nazareth

Arrive to the Holy Land. Meet our tour Guide who will accompany us throughout our journey. Board coach bus to Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth or Tiberias.

DAY 3 – Sea of Galilee

After breakfast start our day with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Then visit Capernaum and the House of Peter, Magdala, the “Jesus Boat” at Nof Ginosar, the church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha, and St. Peter church on the sea. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth or Tiberias.

DAY 4 – Tiberias

After breakfast drive to Cana of Galilee, the place commemorates the first miracle of Jesus. After that we drive to view Mt. Carmel and then continue to Nazareth to visit Basilica of the Annunciation, Mary’s well, St. Joseph church and the old Synagogue. Dinner and overnight will be in Bethlehem.

DAY 5 – Jerusalem

After breakfast, we drive to Mt Olive to have a panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. Then visit the Ascension Chapel and the Peter Noster Church and continue walking to Dominus Flevit, the garden and the Church of Gethsemane, Mt Zion, Dormition Abbey, David’s Tomb, the Last Supper and St. Peter in Galinganto. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

DAY 6 – Jerusalem

We will walk along the Via Dolorosa, through the markets of the Old City. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary. We will pass the Ecce Home where Pilate proclaimed, “Behold the man”, then on to the Wailing Wall. The rest of the day is open for visits to other historic sites and do some shopping. Dinner and overnight accommodations in Bethlehem.

DAY 7 – Jericho

After breakfast, visit Bethany and the Tomb of Lazarus. Drive on to Jericho to see the Mount of Temptation, Tel Sultan, and the sycamore tree of Zacchaeus. Later visit the Dead Sea and caves at Qumran. Perhaps even swim in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. [Option: for a richer cultural experience you have an option to stay overnight with local Christian families instead of staying at hotel]

DAY 8 – Bethlehem

After breakfast, tour Bethlehem. Visit the Nativity Church, Milk Grotto, the Shepherd’s Fields, and the old city of Bethlehem. Enjoy a cultural dinner, cooking classes, folk dancing with local Christian families. Overnight in Bethlehem. [Option] to stay overnight with local Christian families instead of staying at hotel]

DAY 9 – Amman, Jordan

Go to Allenby Bridge, to enter Jordan. Drive to Medaba in central Jordan. Mt. Nebo (2,680 ft. above sea level) also location of the Tomb of Moses. View a panorama of the Holy Land and the Jordan River Valley. Drive north to the modern capital city of Amman, Jordan. Dinner and overnight in Amman.

DAY 10 – Petra, Jordan

Drive to Wadi Musa. Continue to Petra carved and built structures, including the Monastery which was carved out of a sandstone rock face. We will enjoy lunch, and then return through the Siq to Wadi Musa for our drive back to Amman. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 11 – Jerash, Jordan

Drive to the city of Jerash, Known as the “Pompeii of the East” for its extraordinary state of preservation. The most well-known monuments include the colonnaded street, the Temple of Zeus, the Forum and Hadrian’s Arch. After lunch, we return to Amman. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 12 – Amman, Jordan

This day’s schedule depends on the flight time, Drive to Airport for Departure back to the USA.

Price Includes

  • FLIGHT- Economy class Round-trip from US to Israel.
  • LODGING – Double-occupancy rooms with private bathroom facilities. A limited number of single-occupancy rooms are available at additional fee.
  • MEALS – Two meals per day consists of breakfast and dinner.
  • TOURING – per itinerary, (subject to adjustment) with licensed Tour Guide in private air-conditioned tour bus with driver.
  • Airport Taxes, Fuel surcharges and security fees.

Price Does Not Include
Lunches, beverages (other than coffee and tea), personal expenses (snacks, phone, laundry, internet), travel/trip insurance, or Tips.

Booking Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per person is required at time of booking. No reservation will be processed without a deposit and the completed registration form. Final payment is due 90 days prior to your departure date. Registrations received late (within 60 days of departure date) will require Payment in Full. No deposits will be accepted at this time.

We accept cash, checks, money orders, and major credit cards.

There will be an extra 3% charge for credit card payments on the balance.

Refunds/Cancellations

  • NO REFUNDS – UNLESS YOU PURCHASED A TRIP CANCELLATION PLAN.

  • If iHolyLand Tours cancels the scheduled tour for any reason other than safety, security, natural disaster, acts of terrorism, acts of God, or any other circumstances beyond iHolyLand Tours’ control, iHolyLand Tours will refund the entire amount paid minus any non-refundable deposits paid to third-party vendors. iHolyLand Tours bears no further responsibility beyond the refund

Payments should be made on the payment schedule for this tour. Failure to make payments on the payment schedule, may result in your loss of place on the tour with cancellation fees.

Deviations and Changes
Requests for deviation from the itinerary are subject to additional fee, plus any applicable airfare or ground transportation surcharges. Itinerary changes cannot be accepted 3 months before departure date.

Air Transportation

All group airline tickets are round-trip, economy class tickets and are non-refundable from the time of ticketing. Participants on a group flight cannot use frequent file miles to purchase their tickets, although they can add their frequent flyer number to their paid ticket when they arrive at the airport. Any cancellations, alterations, or failure to use confirmed space will be subject to the penalties and fees given by the airline. Please note that airfares, airline carriers, and schedules are always subject to change without notice. While iHolyLand Tours attempts to accurately anticipate required airline taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges, any excess fees levied by the airlines beyond the original total price at time of booking will be the responsibility of the individual participant. iHolyLand Tours retains the right to pass these excess charges on to the individual even if the actual cost is higher than the expected cost advertised. iHolyLand Tours is not responsible for any transportation expenses that are incurred due to missed flight, change of itinerary, illness, etc. Deviations from the group flight are not possible, and seating preferences can be requested directly to the airlines upon check-in. iHolyLand Tours cannot guarantee any seating arrangements or requests.

Passport
You are responsible for the accuracy of your Passport information.
Be sure to enter your Passport name EXACTLY (first, middle, last) as it appears on your Passport. Your tickets will be purchased using the Passport Name you supply. If your name is not exactly the same on your ticket and your Passport, your ticket for this tour will be invalid and may have a substantial cost to re-ticket in the correct name.

You must have a valid passport with an expiration date no less than 6 months PRIOR to RETURNING to the U.S. If you need a new or renewed passport, it takes several weeks to secure one, so don’t delay applying/updating. Non-U.S. Passport holders, please contact iHolyLand Tours office for further instructions.

Inoculations & Visas
No inoculations or visas (for U.S. Citizens) are required for Israel or Jordan

Physical Requirements & Responsibility

This tour is not a looking-out-the-bus-window-experience. Our tours are a feet-on-the-ground adventure that requires travelers to be in generally good health and are responsible to have independent mobility and strength. There is a significant amount of walking over uneven archaeological terrain and nature pathways as well as up hills and ancient stairs. To participate in this tour successfully, you should be able to climb two flights of stairs without assistance and walk at a modest pace for a mile, as well as be able to stand in possibly hot weather.

Every effort will be made to accommodate the health needs of each participant. Please be advised that most foreign countries do not conform to the same standards as found in the USA Disabilities Act. iHolyLand Tours cannot provide individual assistance to travelers for walking, eating, or getting on and off modes of transportation. Participants who need this type of assistance are welcome to provide their own travel companion at their own expense. Or you can contact us for these arrangements if available. Please be advised that iHolyLand Tours cannot guarantee access to all pilgrimage activities, tours, or sites, especially if a participant’s mobility is severely restricted. iHolyLand Tours accepts no responsibility for a participant’s inability to fully participate in any or all portions of the tour, nor can iHolyLand Tours provide any refund for non-participation in any part of the Tour.

Luggage
One piece of checked luggage, maximum 50 pounds.  Plus, one small personal bag (small enough to comfortably fit on your lap on the tour bus, e.g. a back-pack). Luggage is limited due to the tour bus luggage bay capacity.

Photography

Please be advised that iHolyLand Tours reserves the right to take photographs and video during the tour activities and to use captured media for promotional use. Any individual that prefers their image not be used for promotional purposes is kindly asked to notify us via letter or email before departure.

Trip/Travel Insurance 
iHolyLand Tours STRONGLY recommends Trip Insurance. iHolyLand Tours urges you to procure Travel/Trip Insurance immediately after registering for a tour. This type of insurance will cover the cost of your trip should you need to cancel because of an emergency prior to departure or return mid-trip to the States because of an emergency, illness or injury.
